There's no such thing as the perfect opener. Try and try as you might, there is no one set of words, no clause or combination that will wow everyone, that will stick in someone's head forever and ever. Despite what some people think, 'cellar door' might not do it for everyone. In the same sense, there is no perfect person. No matter how hard you try or what you do, people will like and dislike you based on... again no combination of words will do. It's impossible to say what it is that connects or disconnects people. Sometimes it seems like we're just floating around, and if we hit each other at the right speed, angle, etc., we connect. If not, we bounce off with a bad feeling and an irritated mood. I never thought I'd be they type of person to start something like this. Maybe I'm not, and maybe I won't. The fortunate thing is, no one will read this because there are no meta tags, no keywords which will link anyone to this. So why am I writing it I may ask. Because I need to. It's amazing how perfect a life can be, but when when shortcoming is emphasized, when one failing is the foremost characteristic of a person's life, everything good loses it's significance. My shortcoming is myself. A towering giant on the outside with a soul brought to it's knees by a heart that won't heal. My face stands for now, but... More endless teenage blather from a fading smell of spirit.
